Couples Therapy vs. Discernment Therapy

March 27, 2018

If you're currently in a relationship and struggling with resentment and frustration, you might start to consider couples therapy. At Mind and Body Counseling Associates, our desire is for couples to work on their relationships long before any anger or resentment is forged. However, we understand how difficult it can be to come to that decision to ask for outside assistance until things have become so bad there is no other option but to seek help or end the relationship.

Since couples are a huge focus in our practice, we have an entire tab dedicated to our philosophy on couples therapy. There are a few different ways to approach this type of counseling and hopefully our article on Discernment Therapy can help you and your partner to better understand what will work for your needs. The blog image will link you to that article.
